Divine Pine Gathering

JULY 26-28 2024 | Irish Hills, MI

ResilYinCe with Katy Joe DeSantis

ResilYinCe is a movement medicine that combines the healing capabilities of yin yoga + folk herbalism to reveal the strength and resilience you already carry within you. Supported by accessible plant medicines, we will practice true yin yoga by moving s l o w l y + tapping into our energetic meridians to clear space within ourselves and reveal the soft + resilient strength within us.

As a lifetime traveler, a gardener and plant lover, an intuitive yoga teacher of 11 years and a brand new collective studio owner, my health, wellness, and spiritual journeys always bring me back to movement + to the plants.  In the midst of a political and social climate that leaves many of us deeply exhausted, I’m seeking ways to help myself and my community thrive when the odds are against us. My belief is that health is our resistance and of paramount importance in order for us to blossom, flourish, and shape the new paradigm, and I'm dedicated to helping my community access vibrant health practices that nourish them.

SUP Yoga + Paddle Tours

Channel your watery ways with Sally Lyons and Ryan Richardson during their Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Yoga class. This class meets in Healing Village, but takes place on the water! Paddle to a secluded destination for a bit of cowabunga and a lot of asana.

SweetWater Yoga was founded in 2014 by certified SUP Yoga instructor,
@sal_lyons and RYT 200. Her love of yoga and water easily came together and her vision of SUP Yoga was clear. Classes began on her home base lake of Clark Lake and since then has expanded to various bodies of water in Michigan and Ohio. SweetWater has a variety of amazing teachers who will be sharing their gifts on the water at Divine Pine Gathering again this year. Sally continues to be honored and humbled by those interested in SUP Yoga and wants everyone to experience the sweet summer bliss it has to offer. She promises it is easier than it looks but does encompass what yoga teaches us.. to be focused on breath and present moment. Shivasana on a paddleboard is one of her favorite places to be. Sally is looking forward to sharing the unique, serene practice once again at the Divine Pine Gathering.

Hula Hoop Tech & Tricks

This workshop is offered to every level hooper! I will be covering foundational movements and techniques for those who are new to the skill, with hands-on adjustments and instruction.

I will be covering mostly off-the-body moves such as: isolations, weaves, body/ chest rolls, folds, coinflips, etc. I will also be teaching more advanced combination of tricks.
If you have or own any hoops- please bring to class, however, I will have several for those without. You can also reach out to me directly through IG and I can direct you to some shops that sell hoops if you wish to buy one before showing up! I look forward to hooping with you!

Hey there! I'm Sarah. I first picked up a hoop in 2015 and rediscovered my enjoyment and passion for it about 5 years ago after the 2019 DPG. I've been dedicated to smoothing out my flow ever since. With a background in figure skating, particularly synchronized skating, hula hooping fills the space that skating left behind, fostering a sense of creativity, expression, and movement. Surprisingly, my first prop for flow arts was juggling balls, so you might catch me juggling at DPG too!
This will be my fourth DPG, and I am proud to admit that I met the love of my life and now husband on the land in 2017.

Traditional Hatha Yoga with Nina

This is a Hatha Yoga class for all levels, all body types, and experiences. We will move through Asana(physical postures), practice pranayama(breath work), meditation, and some somatic exercises with the incorporation of sound. Our practice is breath focused while observing our bodies as we shift, move, and connect to ourselves and the World around us.

Nina began practicing yoga in highschool, although the practice weaved in and out through the years. After graduating from university in 2017, yoga took the front seat as she discovered the need for balance in a high demanding World. In 2019 Nina completed her 200RYT with Samastah Yoga followed by a Developmental Course, focusing on personal practice, and later completing 300RYT in 2023.

Through the lense of Traditional Hatha Yoga Nina shares her passion for observing, connecting, and empowering ourselves with Asana, meditation, pranayama, sound, and somatic practices. She believes the transformational power of yoga paired with the will to live a heart forward life brings out the truest version of ourselves so we can be present in all aspects of life.

Soul Flow + Piano with Elizabeth Keneson and Seth Leon

A gentle yoga flow weaved together with ambient instrumental piano. Class will open with a time for meditation/reflection. Gentle yoga poses will be offered to help connect with the instrumental piano. Class will end with a prolonged savasana to give the mind, body, & spirit extra rest. *Open discussion after class as well.*

Elizabeth began practicing yoga in 2019 to help eliminate anxiety, stress, and negative thinking. As she deepened her understanding of yoga she fell in love with the tradition and spirituality of what yoga meant. Elizabeth never felt Yoga was about the perfect pose or mastering the practice. Yoga will always be a spiritual practice that she takes with her in every moment. It helps to slow down and be present, and in doing that, she is able to be a more compassionate and kind individual on this journey of life. She aspires for students to feel peace, joy, and love when they leave class and take those three things with them into the world.

Kundalini and Sound for the 10 Bodies with Randiah Camille Green

We have 10 bodies: one physical, three mental, and six energy bodies. Kundalini yoga uses the physical body as a vessel to connect to the energetic and mental bodies. In this class, we'll do a kriya to connect to all 10 through somatic movement, breathwork, and mantra chanting.  It is suitable for all levels, including beginners. After a 60-minute practice, we will end with a soundbath during a 30-minute savasana. Bring a yoga mat, blankets, an eyemask, and whatever else you need to feel comfortable!

Randiah Camille Green is aK poet, journalist, performance artist, healer, and spirit having a human experience from Detroit. She is an RYT-200, certified kundalini yoga instructor, and sound healer who has been teaching for two years. She teaches primarily kundalini, gentle, and yin yoga rooted in meditative introspection and connecting to the divine within. She is honored to guide you on the journey home to your true self.

Yoga Nidra with Juliana Fox

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic or psychic sleep, is a deeply relaxing and meditative practice that allows you to enter a state of profound relaxation while remaining fully aware. It is a powerful technique that helps release stress, tension, and anxiety, promoting overall well-being.

During this session, you will be guided through the sound of my voice and support of sound bowls, preparing your body and mind for deep relaxation. You will be led into a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep, where you can experience deep rest and inner calm. One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to up to four hours of uninterrupted sleep. No prior experience in yoga or meditation is required. We will be laying in Savasana the entirety of the practice. Bring your yoga or sleep mat, blankets, pillow, eye mask or anything that supports your body's maximum comfort.

Divine intervention led Juliana to the beginning of her healing journey in the fall of 2003. After a life changing experience, she now dedicates time and energy in supporting others to discover their own spiritual path. Juliana has dedicated time and energy learning and practicing the healing arts of Reiki, astrology, Yoga Nidra, sound healing and more.
